Therese O’Connor
Project Manager

Therese is qualified in a master’s in international Tourism and a BSC in both Hotel and Business Management and has over 20 years’ management experience within the hospitality and education sector. In her career, Therese has specialised in project management, sales and marketing and training and development and brings this wealth of knowledge and expertise with her to Shanbally.

Brid Morgan
Accounts Manager
Department: House
Brid has been working for the Duggans as Accounts and Payroll Manager for over 25 years. Brid’s role involves overseeing the financial operations for both Shanbally House and Gardens and the Shanbally Herb Dispensary.

Sheila Pollard
PA to Noel Duggan
Department: House
Sheila is PA to Managing Director Noel Duggan and has been in this position for the last 15 years. Sheila’s role is diverse but her main responsibilities lie in purchasing, administration and customer service management.

Heiko Klee
Gardens Head Grower
Department: Shanbally Organic Farm
Heiko’s farming background led him to studying horticulture before moving to Ireland in 1988 and embarking on a career as an organic vegetable grower. He has spent over 20 years working on organic farms in Ireland and his experience of field scale growing is now being utilised to nurture the medicinal crops. Heiko has a long-standing interest in natural medicine from youth and understands the importance of his role in growing healing plants and finds working with the plants incredibly therapeutic.

Briain Walsh
Gardens Grower
Department: Shanbally Organic Farm
Briain studied horticulture at CIT before starting out as a vegetable grower at Shanbally Farm in 2018. He came to see quickly the appreciation people have for organically grown healthy food and this has led to his growing interest in working with medicinal herbs. For Briain, working with the herbs at Shanbally has increased his daily quality of life, finding the sights and smells of the various herbs always uplifting and he is equally excited about being part of the development of Shanbally farm & herb dispensary.

Colleen Kennedy
Education Officer
Department: Education
Colleen N.D, Dip HM, Dip NT, mIRH, mANP, spent 7 years training with CNM and qualified in Herbal Medicine, Naturopathy and Nutrition in 2012. Over the last 7 years, Colleen has been running her own practice in the Body and Mind Health Centre, Westport, Co. Mayo. Colleen is also a Senior lecturer with CNM in Galway and Dublin and regularly delivers her own public workshops and seminars in herbal medicine. She was co-organiser of Herbfeast, Irelands only dedicated conference for Herbalists, for 2 years, alongside fellow colleagues Marina Kesso and Ross Hennessy.

Eileen Conneely
The HerbYard Manager
Department: The HerbYard
Eileen studied and obtained her BSc (hons) degree in Homeopathic Medicine from the University of Westminster, London in 2005. After her studies Eileen enhanced her knowledge of Homeopathic remedies and Medicinal herbs while working as a dispensary assistant and advisor at Ainsworths Homeopathic pharmacy and Neal’s Yard Remedies.
Her interest in Herbal medicine led her to Oregon, U.S.A where she completed Herbpharm’s Herbaculture Internship Program. Over the years she has developed a special interest in supporting individuals with ADHD and Generalized Anxiety Disorder.
