Further Introduction to Shanbally House & Gardens:
Located in the adjoining courtyard is our Education space. We can accommodate up to 100 people between our 5 meetings rooms. Also located here is our main reception office, our retail shop and a dedicated catering venue. Furthermore, the Farmacy Cafe serves a plant based menu to complement each event using fresh produce from our organic farm. Our calendar of events include a variety of interactive workshops, seminars and conferences. We cater for not only Herbalists but Practitioners in general. However, we also have plenty to offer the general public that have an interest in health related topics. Visit our education page to view the calendar of upcoming events. Also at Shanbally, it is also possible to hire these rooms for corporate events, receptions and meetings. Most importantly, we can work with you to tailor an event to meet your specifications.
The next courtyard is home to the Therapy Rooms . Quite simply, this is a multidisciplinary clinic where clients can have private consultations with experienced Practitioners. This includes but not limited to herbalists, homeopaths, nutritionists, massage therapists and reflexologists. Over the next few months, we will be updating the Herbyard page with details of our Practitioners. Once we are up and running, you will be able to book your consultation online. Moving on from here, on the other side of this courtyard, is the Shanbally barn. It is here where we invite you to relax and unwind. Clients can avail of our infrared saunas, therapy pool and our signature herbal baths. We are currently in construction phase, more information to follow in coming months.
Shanbally Farm has worked hard to achieve organic status. Since then,we are members of the Irish Organic Association. Shanbally Farm, currently grows over 120 different types of herbs and vegetables. These are harvested for use in the Shanbally Herb Dispensary. However, visitors to Shanbally will also have the opportunity to purchase these herbal plants and organic grown vegetables in our retail area. Throughout the year, Shanbally Farm hosts volunteer days and practical continuous professional days for practitioners. Please see the Shanbally Farm page for more details.
Shanbally Herb Dispensary
Lastly, located 1 mile from Shanbally House & Gardens, is the Herb Dispensary. It is here where the herbs harvested from the farm are processed. As a result of processing, our powders, dried herbs and tinctures are made. These are then sold online to Herbalists both in Ireland and internationally.
