1% essential oil (terpenes- phellandrene, limonene, [[beta]]-bisabolene, caryophyllene), coumarins especially furanocoumarin glycosides (umbelliferone, angelicin, osthol, psoralen, bergapten), bitter principle, phenolic acids, tannins, lactones, flavonoids, sterols

Main actions:

Stomachic, Carminative, Expectorant, Circulatory stimulamt, Warming Diaphoretic.

Other Actions:

 

Digestive tonic, anti-spasmodic, anti- inflammatory, astringent, diuretic.

Dosage:

0.5 – 2ml TID

Safety:

 

May cause photosensitivity, caution in peptic ulcers and gastro- oesophageal reflux

Caution in pregnancy, hot conditions.
